Westside Church of Christ

Mike Hinrichs is originally from Winnsboro, South Carolina and has preached for Westside since the summer of 2001. In addition to his local duties, he is also engaged in mission work with yearly trips to Suriname, South America. Prior to coming to Westside, he served churches in Columbia and Batesburg, SC.

He and his wife, Patty were married in January, 1981.

Mike’s preaching philosophy:

Paul advised Timothy to preach the word (2 Timothy 4:1-2), and that is what I seek to do. The goal of that effort is love from a pure heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5). Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to love God and love our neighbor (Matthew 22:34-40). It is my desire to help us have a church family atmosphere with love for our Lord and for one another. We are children of God, and brothers and sisters in Christ. We are family.
